About The Place2Be
The Place2Be works with children, teachers and parents/carers too, providing therapeutic support to address social, emotional and behavioural problems.
The Place2Be helps build children’s confidence and self-esteem, enabling them to cope with difficult life events, establish friendships and focus in class. This in turn makes school a happier place to be for all the children and the school staff.

Place2Be at Oldfield Primary
Place2Be is a service that is available for the children at Oldfield Primary. The Place2Be gives children the chance to talk about their feelings, feel good about themselves and be more able to learn.
Faye Franklin from Place2Be is based in school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. She works with children on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, offering regular time-tabled support for those who need it most. She also runs a drop in service called Place2Talk where children can come along for 15 minutes during their lunch break to talk to her.
