In Year 6 we offer an exciting and challenging curriculum to prepare children for the end of KS2 and a smooth transition to high school. Children in Year 6 are expected to be role models in the school and have responsibilities and privileges which go with being in the final year of primary school. Please see the termly curriculum maps for more information about learning in Year 6.
Ms Robinson (Y6O)
This is my fourth year teaching Year 6. I have been teaching for a total of 6 years. I have taught in both KS1 and KS2. I graduated with a BA in Primary Education with a specialism in Art and Spanish. After graduating I became a supply teacher and taught in many schools in the Ealing Borough. Currently I am KS2 Maths Coordinator at Oldfield. Maths is my favourite subject to teach; it is rewarding to see children thrive, overcome difficult concepts and develop a positive attitude towards maths.
Miss Dale (Y6L)
This is my third year at Oldfield, previously I’ve worked in Primary and secondary school as well as teaching English as a foreign language at a range of collages and alternative settings. Following a BA in English and Fine Art, I went to train in both secondary and primary education. I am currently the Art and Design Technology Coordinator for the school. I enjoy working with young people and facilitating them to get the most out of their learning.
